The Pamela Howland Artist Fund was established in 2021 by Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County in honor and memory of the extraordinary pianist and music educator, Dr. Pamela Howland. Annually, the fund provides three awards of $2,000 each in three categories that support committed, gifted individual artists and small, unincorporated groups of collaborating artists residing in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County. The award categories are visual arts, performing arts, and art that is interdisciplinary and/or innovative for the community.
