Community Enrichment Mini-Grant 2015-2016 Deadlines

Projects taking place between October 1, 2015 – January 30, 2016 due by Monday, September 21 at 5pm

Organizational Support Grant cycle is currently closed. 2016-17 information will be posted in spring 2016.

Offers financial support to local arts & cultural organizations with budgets of over $150,000 to assist in the day-to-day operations of the organization. The grant is available to member organizations of The Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. If you are new to the Organizational Support Grant process, please set-up a meeting with the Director of Member Services and Grants at (dsilver@intothearts.org or 336-747-1426).

Wells Fargo AIE Grant cycle is currently closed. 2016-17 information will be posted in spring 2016.

Partners artists with educators, bringing hands-on arts experience to thousands of students each year. The Wells Fargo Arts-In-Education Grant connects artists and arts organizations with elementary, middle and high school students, by funding programs designed to awaken their intellectual and creative curiosity. The program is sponsored by Wells Fargo and the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System; it is jointly designed and administered by The Arts Council and the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System. Duke Energy Regional Artist Project Grant cycle is currently closed. 2016-17 information will be posted in spring 2016.

Duke Energy Regional Artist Project Grants are partly supported by the North Carolina Arts Council with funding from the state of North Carolina and the National Endowment from the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.

These grants support artists in the local community and region, helping them further their professional development. They provide financial support to committed, gifted individual artists and small, unincorporated groups of collaborating artists. The grant is awarded to projects that promise to advance the career of the artist or groups of artists in the following disciplines: Music Composition, Film/Video, Literature/Playwriting, Choreography/Dance, and Visual Art/Craft. The Innovative Project Grant is designed to support creative projects for the benefit of the community in 3 targeted areas: Community Vibrancy & Enrichment, Youth Before & After, and Art in Unexpected Places. These areas are aligned to support The Arts Council’s Vision Initiative which aims at building upon our reputation as the City of Arts and Innovation through Looking the Part, Establishing Sustainable Support, and Creating an Ethos of Innovation.

Advertising Assistant Grant cycle is currently closed. 2016-17 information will be posted in spring 2016.

Is supported by 90.5 WSNC Radio, The Winston-Salem Journal, The Chronicle, EverWondr Network, WXLV ABC 45/WMYV my 48, Forsyth Woman/Forsyth Family and Camel City Dispatch. This program provides cost-saving advertising dollars for local arts agencies promoting their organizations. The program is available to member organizations of The Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County.

2015-2016 Community Enrichment Mini-Grant Application is now available for download!

Projects taking place between October 1, 2015 – January 30, 2016 due by Monday, September 21 at 5pm

Projects taking place between February 1 – May 30, 2016 due by Monday, January 4 at 5pm

Projects taking place between June 1 – September 30, 2016 due by Friday, April 29 at 5pm

This grant will provide community groups and individuals with small project grant funds up to $500 that will promote creativity and use art as a means to bring community together. This program is open to individual residents, student and community groups, as well as local businesses in Forsyth County. Criteria for funding includes community benefit and engagement; artistic and/or cultural merit; collaborations or partnerships; community diversity; and have additional sources of financial or in-kind support. Priority will be given to new applicants.
