Latin Dance Night with SonCaribe featuring West End Mambo

Dazzle your date this Valentine's weekend at a special Latin Dance Night with SonCaribe Latin Dance featuring West End Mambo!

On Saturday, February 15, dance the night away in Reynolds Place Theatre to salsa, bachata, and other Latin dance styles. Arrive at 7:30 for an Intro to Salsa dance lesson, and enjoy the Social Dance from 8:30-11:30pm, with live music from West End Mambo from 8:30-10:30. No partner or experience necessary – bring your valentine, or make friends on the dance floor!

Drinks (including wine and beer) and food from Que Viva! Latin Street Grill will be available for purchase.

Doors open at 7:30pm

SonCaribe Latin Dance is a dance organization for bodies of all abilities, genders, races, shapes, and sizes. Their mission is to ignite passion for Latin dancing within the heart of Winston-Salem, where individuals can come together to experience the joy and rhythm of salsa, bachata, merengue, and more. They share the rich culture and history of Latin dance through expert instruction, lively dance events, and a supportive community.

West End Mambo is comprised of musicians from North, South and Central America as well as the Caribbean. Formed in 1999, the band performs a fiery mix of classic salsa from bolero and rumbas to guaracha and son montuno. Their repertoire includes original orchestral salsa arrangements which they have performed with the Winston-Salem and Greensboro Symphonies.
