Arts Council Presents Cinematic HD Screening of All My Sons

Hanesbrands Theatre, 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 2


Winston-Salem, NC  (January 21, 2020) – The Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County’s next offering in its  Cinematic HD Screening series is All My Sons.   The screening is at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, in Hanesbrands Theatre at The Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts in downtown Winston-Salem. 


Filmed live from The Old Vic in London, Arthur Miller’s blistering drama, All My Sons, stars Academy Award-winner Sally Field (Steel Magnolias),  and Bill Pullman (Independence Day).

Despite hard choices and even harder knocks, Joe and Kate Keller are a success story in 1947 USA. They have built a home, raised two sons and established a thriving business. But they discover nothing lasts forever.  Their contented lives, already damaged by the loss of their eldest boy to war, are shattered when a figure from the past returns.   Long buried truths are forced to the surface and the price of their American dream is laid bare.


All screenings in this National Theatre Live series  are in Hanesbrands Theatre at 209 N Spruce Street in Winston-Salem using The Arts Council’s state-of-the-art Digital Cinema Projector.

National Theatre Live is an initiative operated by the Royal National Theatre in London, which broadcasts performances around the world via satellite of their productions and other theatres to cinemas and arts centers such at The Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts. After the All My Sons showing on Sunday, February 2. other National Theatre Live productions will include Present Laughter (Sunday, April 5 at 2 p.m.), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Sunday, May 10 at 2 p.m.), and Fleabag (Sunday, May 31 at 2 p.m.).  Tickets are on sale at 336-747-1414 or at hanesbrandstheatre.com.
