Eryn Crews Joins Arts Council Staff

Will work in fundraising



Winston-Salem, NC (January 2, 2020) – Eryn Crews has joined the staff of The Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County as Annual Giving Manager.  Crews brings to The Arts Council experience in fundraising and development with two Triad organizations, Make-a-Wish of Central & Western North Carolina and American Children’s Home of Lexington.  In these positions, she led education and development initiatives that resulted in diverse and productive fundraising partnerships.

Crews will play an important role on The Arts Council’s development team and help ensure the success of The Arts Council’s annual Community Fund for the Arts campaign. Her primary focus will be devising and implementing strategy for institutional fundraising through workplace campaigns and corporate, municipal, and foundation giving.  She will be tasked with expanding The Arts Council’s donor base and expanding its mission to “touch every corner”.

Crews is a native of Ohio and earned the Associates Degree in Applied Sciences from Fortis College in Cuyahoga, Ohio.  She is a vocal, instrumental and visual artist who believes in the transformative power of the arts. 

Winston-Salem, known as a City of Arts and Innovation, and Forsyth County have a robust arts community that enriches the lives of area residents every day and accounts in large part for the recognition they continue to receive as a great place to live, learn, work and play. Forsyth County’s nonprofit arts industry supports 5,559 full time equivalent jobs; accounts for more than $129 million in resident household income, and generates more than $14.8 million in local and state tax revenues.
