“An undersized quarterback wins the starting role for a small FCS team; but when his father is sentenced to 35 years in prison, he must find the courage to lead an underdog Band of Brothers against the winningest team in College Football History.”

DayDreamers Ink, Inc. is currently at the point in development where they need to secure distribution. In order to do so, they must first attach A-List Talent both in front of and behind the camera. For instance, before they can approach an actor the likes of Bryan Cranston to play “Coach Moore” or Octavia Spencer to portray Armanti's mom, "Miss Deb", they need to secure at least $250,000 before an agent will pass the script along to their client. Moreover, in order to pique the interest of a worthy director like Craig Brewer (HUSTLE & FLOW, EMPIRE, DOLEMITE, et al.) to helm the film, his agent will carry out the same due diligence, assuring that DayDreamers Ink is capable of paying their client at least the minimum the market will bear. At $250-500k a piece, they will need to have raised $750k - $1 million before they can attach A-List Talent and secure a distribution deal. This being said, lesser amounts will be useful in ramping up their exposure and creating a buzz: At $2-3k they can revamp / relaunch / maintain their social media platforms. $3k-10k will allow them to create a promo video from the personal interviews they’ve shot; while $25k-100k will allow them to create an original short film to act as an additional proof of concept.

About Arts Council's Fiscal Sponsorships
In 2021, Arts Council launched a new service to the community by serving as a fiscal agent for projects that fulfil our mission as the chief advocate of arts and culture in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. A fiscal agent is an established IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that agrees to accept donations on behalf of a group that does not have IRS tax exemption. By serving as a fiscal agent for various local projects, we are better able to support the arts and cultural community by accepting funds on our partner's behalf and granting them back to our partner organization. This gives donors a tax deduction for their gift and helps for us to better fulfil our mission at Arts Council.
